My first remote work trip in the RV
I’m not sure how many times Michael said to me, “That’s why I’ve been asking you to test it first!” during our 5 night/ 6 day working road trip last week.

I couldn’t get my desk to unfold. My multi-point articulating, custom-built hickory passenger seat desk.
Honestly, I wasn’t that concerned about it. But he was and he was getting frustrated because he couldn’t help while he drove Brunhilda, our chonky RV, from Berkeley, CA back to Barstow (*more on that later).
“Acts of Service” is one of his love languages and he could not provide me any service while steering the fun bus through the wind, rain, and did I say wind? up and down the California Central Valley.
Me? I do love me a good act of service, but I’m also an independent woman thankyouverymuch, I can figure out a desk. Can’t I?
Well, as it turns out, I can’t.
I did get a D on my Geometry final in 10th grade…. after a 30-point scale. If there’s a learning disability for spatial relationships, I probably have it.

But alas, I figured it out… after Michael showed me. Multiple times.
It's one of many amazing upgrades, customizations, and fixed Michael did to our ol' girl. So, it's time for a photographic "before" & "after" tour .... stay tuned!
