Caulk & Roll

When you buy a 22-year-old RV, there's bound to be problems and little hidden secrets. Like a mouse mummified in permanent twerk position my husband found when he began removing panels to replace the flooring.

But what you also find are leaks. Lots of them. Little tiny gaps in gaskets and cracks along the caulking. And not all caulk is created equal, as we've learned. There is a size, shape, and color for each crevice and by golly you better match it right or else you'll find yourself sorry in the middle of a rainy night, staring at the ceiling, wondering what went wrong.
To be precise, we used black caulk on the interior. White and clear caulk on the exterior, some of it self-leveling and some of it semi self-leveling. All RV specific. Prior to two weeks ago, my caulk knowledge was seriously lacking. Now I'm ready to caulk and roll.
